Each year, we offer several events to connect students, alumni and employers. We support the career goals of our students and alumni by giving them the experiences and resources they need to pursue a job or career in their chosen field. See below for more information about each of our events. |
Teacher Recruitment Fair 2025
November 12, 2025 from 11am – 1pm in The Fulkerson Center.
Students from all majors are welcome, regardless of if they will be graduating with a teacher certification, as some districts will assist employees in earning alternative certification. Some districts may also be hiring for positions other than teaching positions. Registration is required.
6th Annual Communication Career Night
October 28th from 6:30pm – 8:30pm in Enright 214/216.
Join us to network and receive feedback from Communication professionals and MoWest alumni within the workforce. All MoWest majors are welcome. Registration is required on Handshake at https://missouriwestern.joinhandshake.com/edu or email Kristen Neeley at kneeley@missouriwestern.edu
This event is free for students and employers with light refreshments. The event is in partnership with the Communication Department, Society of Collegiate Journalists, and the Office of Alumni Relations.
CJLS Career Fair 2025
October 28, 2025 from 10am – 1pm in Blum Union 218/219.
Criminal Justice, Legal Studies, Government, & Non-Profits Career Fair. Free to MWSU Students & Employers. Registration isn’t required.

All Majors Career & Internship Fair is the largest career event of the year! All Missouri Western majors are welcome and registration is not required.

The Missouri Regional Industrial Science and Engineering (MO-RISE) Networking and Employment Event brings together students in STEM-related fields with regional employers and Missouri Western STEM department alumni for an evening focused on workforce preparation and professional networking.
