Welcome to the Nontraditional and Commuter Center at MWSU. The Center, conveniently located in Blum 234, serves as the Student Union for students over the age of 25 and students who do not live on campus. Our mission is to connect students with campus and community resources that will support them in their academic journey toward graduation. The Center serves as a landing space for busy adult learners to relax, check their email and grab a bite to eat between classes. Amenities include: networked computers, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, television and comfortable seating.

Funding Opportunities


The Juda Nontraditional Student Book Fund Scholarship is awarded at the beginning of each fall and spring semester to half-time or full-time, degree-seeking, non-traditional students who can show financial need and have at least average grades. You will need to include a supporting statement to explain why you believe you should receive this scholarship and describe your career plans and goals. The next application cycle will be Aug. 28-Sept. 11, 2023.

The Supplemental Education Fund is awarded at the beginning of each fall and spring semester and is designed to help offset the cost of education-related expenses that will assist the student in continuing toward their degree. Note – This fund is not intended to reimburse for tuition, textbooks or gas. The next application cycle will be Aug. 28-Sept. 11, 2023.
