GOAL Director Micheal Ducey will speak on “The Applied Learning Mission of MWSU”. More speakers and breakout discussion are also planned.

While we know that there are offices that can help students address these challenges it can be difficult to navigate which office can assist with a specific issue. Join us as we look at the different campus reporting options for supporting students.

Breakout sessions will provide all participants the opportunity to share their current practices and provide input to shape improvement measures for this campus-wide initiative.  REGISTER HERE
Friday, April 1, 2022, 1:00 – 1:50 pm Virtual – Zoom “Internships:  A crash course in developing and maintaining a robust internship program that advances student learning”  – Dr. Michael Ducey, Director of GOAL – What should an effective internship program look like?  How do I ensure that an internship is a learning experience and not just a job?  Paid or unpaid?  How do I establish and assess learning outcomes for an internship experience?  We’ll address the answers to these questions and provide a framework for establishing a successful internship program.  REGISTER HERE
