The Griffon Yearbook received over 30 state and national awards for its historic 2019-2020 edition.

The yearbook earned 15 Gold Circle awards from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association headquartered in the Columbia School of Journalism in NYC. The Gold Circle awards are the highest honor any university can receive for student media.

The yearbook, led by Editor-in-Chief Alicia Otto ’20, celebrates and documents the 50th anniversary as a four-year institution. Working in the Alumni Office afforded Otto the opportunity to showcase alumni and their dedication to the university as well as the preservation of its rich history. A mix of then and now, the 2019-2020 Griffon Yearbook is well-deserving of the accolades it has received. You can view the awards here.
