Missouri Western State University’s Lambda Chapter of Alpha Chi, national college honor scholarship society, recently initiated 11 new members. Alpha Chi invites the top 10% of junior, senior and graduate students at member institutions to join.

 

Students initiated were: Matthew Bobela of St. Joseph, MO; Erica Dunn of Jefferson City, MO; Jacob Christian of Cameron, MO; Mackenzie Shelter of St. Joseph, MO; Zachary Schank of Weston, MO; Alyssa Green of St. Joseph, MO; Katherine Yeacker of Ortonville, MI; Kimberly Hillyard of Bolckow, MO; Randy Rouse Jr. of Omaha, NE; Delaynee Ross of Kansas City, MO; and Lacey Raymond of Gower, MO.

 

The objectives of Alpha Chi are the stimulation, development and recognition of scholarship and those elements of character that make scholarship effective for good purposes. Alpha Chi encourages students to continue their development through graduate work, supports a scholarship program on their behalf, admits them to participate in regional and national programs and publishes a magazine and newsletter annually.
