Missouri Western has partnered with Barnes & Noble and McGraw-Hill Education to offer affordable textbooks to your student. This fall, we are piloting the program with six courses and hope to expand the program to include more courses and publishers in future semesters.
The textbooks are available through Canvas, the course management system, and billed through our billing office. Students will see a textbook fee for the class on their tuition bill. The textbook is sold to the student at a discounted rate and will be available for use on the first day of classes. They do not need to go to the bookstore to purchase their textbook or search online for a better deal.
If the student does not wish to participate in the program and purchase the discounted textbook, they are able to opt out of the purchase through Canvas.
