Student Employment Program (housed within the Career Development Center) is a great way for students to earn money, learn valuable skills, and establish connections on campus and in the community. Encourage your student to check out all of the employment opportunities available on- campus as they begin their spring semester.
The Career Development Center is launching a new career-management portal to connect Griffons to employers and open positions. Handshake will launch in January 2019 and will be the new official home of all on-campus jobs and careers in the community. Students will receive an email Monday, Jan. 14 to activate their account. Handshake connects Griffons to over 300,000 employers and will be a valuable resource when looking for jobs both on campus and after graduation.
It’s never too early for students to start thinking about their future. Our staff can help your student identify their career interests and find their passions. All Griffons are encouraged to take advantage of our one-on-one career counseling, our self-assessment tools, our CareerSpots videos, and our other online resources to discover their career paths.
