The Department of Music will present “Marimba Madness” at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 21 in the Potter Hall Theater. This concert will feature music for marimba and other mallet percussion instruments performed by area high school, college and professional percussionists. This event is free and open to the public.
The Department of Music will also present the Percussion Ensemble Festival from noon to 6 p.m., Tuesday, April 24 in the Fulkerson Center. This festival is a half-day event concluding with a 6 p.m. concert featuring area high school percussion groups, the Missouri Western Percussion Ensemble and guest artist Dr. Nathan Daughtrey. This concert is free and open to the public.
