Help your student prepare for finals week by encouraging them to seek help through the Center for Academic Support as early as possible. The earlier they seek help, the better prepared they will be.
Math and writing tutors are usually immediately available for walk-ins. Content tutors are available for many other classes on campus, but your student will need to have an appointment set up in advance. Students are encouraged to call (816) 271-4524 for more information on tutoring sessions.
The CAS is located in Hearnes 213, to the east of the library entrance, and is open 8 a.m.-7 p.m., Monday-Thursday, and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Friday. The CAS offers trained tutors and passionate staff who want to help your student succeed academically.
