As part of Missouri Western’s career day, senior capstone nursing students offered a super-hero experience in the lab for the sixth-graders from Humboldt Elementary School. Each sixth-grader was able to experience six different stations with a super hero, where they learned about making healthy choices.
Additionally, our nursing students invited approximately 20 high school students who are interested in nursing and currently attending Hillyard Technical School to attend a special career day event. The high school students were able to tour our nursing lab and discuss nursing career possibilities.
