The Counseling Center is designed to help students with problems, both academic and personal, that might interfere with their educational pursuits. The Counseling Center can provide assistance with study motivation, time management, adjusting to college life, increasing self-confidence, overcoming test-taking anxiety, overcoming feelings of apathy and mild depression, among many other student problems.

The counselors do not provide long-term therapy. Typically, a counseling session can run from five to eight weeks. Counselors can assist students with needs for long-term therapy find a suitable treatment program in the community.
