The unveiling of the new mural in southside St. Joseph is set for Saturday, Aug. 3, in conjunction with the Farmers’ Market. A live broadcast will run 10 a.m.-noon. The event is open to public. There will be live music and food, and the public will have a chance to speak to the artists, many of whom were Missouri Western students, about the mural. The mural was commissioned by South Saint Joseph Development Corporation and Allied Arts Council of Saint Joseph. Kathy Liao, assistant professor of art, coordinated the project.
