Dr. Robert Vartabedian presents Frank Frudenthal with his award.

At the annual Engineering Technology Advancement Committee banquet last week, Frank Frudenthal received the Engineering Technology Community Excellence Award. He founded the manufacturing arm of Altec Industries, Inc. in St. Joseph in 1973 and built it into the largest manufacturer of hydraulic aerial and digging devices in the world.

Calen Hensley received the Engineering Technology Student Excellence Award. The senior is majoring in Electronics Engineering Technology with a minor in Math. He had an internship with Black & Veatch in Kansas City in the summer of 2018, and has been hired full ://www.missouriwestern.edu/alumni/wp-content/uploads/sites/89/2019/04/ETAC-Banquet-044.jpgtime to work there after he graduates.
