The Department of Chemistry has received continued approval by the American Chemical Society’s Committee on Professional Training. This approval allows the Department to continue offering degrees certified by the American Chemical Society. ACS approved programs must meet a strict set of guidelines associated with curriculum, quality, rigor, expertise, and resources. The Chemistry Department has been continuously certified since 1977.
