Prior to coming to Missouri Western State University, he worked as a Residence Hall Director for Residential Life at South Dakota State University. In addition to his experience with Residential Life, he has experience working with Greek Life and Leadership at Fort Hayes State University as well as serving as an Orientation intern at Montana State University.

Nia Estes comes to Missouri Western from Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky, where she currently serves as a Residence Life Coordinator. In this role, she oversees personnel and operations for multiple residence halls, adjudicates student conduct cases, develops and implements programming, serves as a retention agent, and advises the Residence Hall Association. Nia also brings residence life experience from Truman State University where she served as a Community Coordinator, and holds a Masters of Higher Education in Student Affairs from Iowa State University.

Jessica Berg joins Missouri Western from Regis University where she earned her M.S. in Project Leadership and Management. Jessica graduated with a B.S. in Nutrition and Food Science with a concentration in Dietetics from Colorado State University. She worked with the Student Recreation Center as a Sport Clubs Adviser at CSU and participated in club sports and intramurals there.

Caiti is a Junior studying Music Education. Caiti is a 2nd year Resident Assistant and is also involved in the Marching Band and the organization Phi Boota Roota. Caiti hopes her residents in Beshears will get a chance to know her and that they feel comfortable coming to her with issues and concerns. Caiti is excited to take what she learned last year as an RA and apply it this year in order to make her residents feel more at home. In her free time, Caiti enjoys listening to and playing music, running and spending time with family and friends.

Kayla is a senior studying Digital Animation. She is a second year Resident Assistant in Juda Hall. Kayla enjoys being an RA because it allows her to make a difference for others in their college experience. She is excited to meet her resident in Juda and make new friends. Kayla hopes that her residents have a good school year and a great time living on campus. When she isn’t working, Kayla enjoys watching movies and spending time with friends.

Elizabeth is a Senior studying Forensic Chemistry. She is a third year Resident Assistant in Leaverton Hall. Elizabeth is excited to be an RA again so she can meet her new coworkers and residents. Elizabeth hopes that her residents have fun and feel safe living on campus. SHe hopes their experience is so positive that they choose to live on campus again. Elizabeth hopes to grow her conflict mediation skills as an RA to help her in her career after graduation. Elizabeth enjoys playing softball, traveling, going for walks, and making crafts.

Erykah is a senior studying Medical Laboratory Science. She is a first year Resident Assistant in Leaverton Hall. Erykah is looking forward to meeting new people and building strong connections with others. She wants her residents to feel safe and enjoy the community she creates. Erykah enjoys playing sports and listening to music in her free time.

Alyx is a sophomore studying Theatre. She is a 1st year Resident Assistant and is also the President of Alpha Psi Omega and involved in the Griffon Film Society. Alyx hopes that her residents in Scanlon will say she helped aid in their transition to college living. Alyx believes the RA position will help her improve her communication skills and gain confidence in a leadership position. In her free time, Alyx enjoys reading, journaling and watching her favorite tv shows (Friends, Sherlock, Doctor Who).

Dayne is a junior studying Studio Art with a concentration in Ceramics. He is a first year Resident Assistant in Scanlon Hall. Dayne is excited to be an RA so he can help residents enjoy living on campus. At the end of the year, Dayne hopes that his residents say that he planned fun programs and helped them adjust to life on campus. Dayne is looking forward to learning more about leadership and communication skills as an RA and is confident that those skills will help him in his future career. Dayne stays involved on campus by participating in the Clay Guild and the Art History Club.

Caitlyn is a sophomore studying Business Management. She is a first year Resident Assistant in Vartabedian Hall. Caitlyn is involved on campus through the Concert Chorale and as a Griffon Edge Transition Mentor. For her residents in Vartabedian, Caitlyn hopes that they feel welcomed and at home while living on campus. She also wants to support her residents through the good times and struggles during college. Caitlyn hopes to further improve her problem-solving skills as an RA. During her free time, Caitlyn enjoys watching her favorite show, Supernatural, and spending time with family, friends, and her dogs.

Wanda is a sophomore studying Psychology. She is a first year Resident Assistant in Vaselakos Hall. Wanda is involved with the Navigators on campus. Wanda hopes to take what she learns as an RA and use it in her future career. She wants her residents to have fun in a welcoming environment. Wanda enjoys reading, hiking and horseback riding.
