Morrison, who had been serving as associate vice chancellor for finance at the University of Arkansas-Little Rock, was named vice president for financial planning and administration and began in June.

Prior to his position at the University of Arkansas-Little Rock, Morrison served as the vice president for business affairs at Texas A&M University-San Antonio and as the vice chancellor for finance and administration at the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith.

Morrison holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting from Henderson State University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Arkansas-Little Rock.

As vice president for financial planning, Morrison will be Missouri Western’s chief financial officer reporting directly to the president. He will oversee accounting services, the business office, human resources, information technology, physical plant, police department, purchasing, risk management and contracts for the bookstore and food services.

Morrison succeeds Dr. Cale Fessler.
