Are you a student with creative talents? We are looking for the next class t-shirt design! All freshmen for the incoming class of Fall 2023 are able to submit up to two designs, designs will be voted on by the entire class and the winning design will be featured on the official class t-shirt, banner, and more! The winning designer will receive a $100 scholarship. Review the contest guidelines below, and be sure to submit your design by June 30, 2023.

Entry Requirements

• Shirt design should follow the theme of “Class of Freedom” and incorporate the phrase somewhere in the design
• Maximum of two colors, which should follow the MWSU brand
• The design must be produced in design software and submitted electronically in pdf format (designs using online t-shirt design tools will not be accepted)
• Limit of (2) entries per student.
• Art is limited to one side of the shirt and must reproduce to fit within a 12″ wide x 10″ long format.
• Must be an original, unpublished work produced for the Class of Freedom T-shirt Design Contest. Designs must be original to the student entering the design. No part of the design may be designed by a third party, include third-party logos, or include copyrighted material. The use of third-party licensed material is expressly prohibited.
• Submissions that use the MWSU logo or other MWSU brand elements must be consistent with MWSU’s brand guidelines.

Eligibility Requirements

• Must be a first-time incoming student at Missouri Western State University for the Fall or Summer of 2023
• Must be 18 years or older
• Limit of (2) entries per student.

Prize

• $100 Scholarship to be applied to the student’s MWSU account
• MWSU prize pack

Designers will need to submit their pdf design and completed entry form by email to admission@missouriwestern.edu by  June 30th.
