What to Expect

Griffon Orientation – On-Campus

At Griffon Orientation (GO), we will walk you through all of the steps you need to take to be prepared to start your journey at MoWest. Students should be prepared to be available between 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on the day of their registration.

Here is what you can expect during your on campus GO session:

• Talk to an Academic Advisor and enroll in classes
• Review and complete important steps related to financial aid, health forms, and more
• Take your picture and get your Student ID
• Make connections with faculty, staff, current students and fellow first-year students

Griffon Orientation – Transfer/Virtual

Transfer students or first-year students who aren’t able to make Griffon Orientation on December 15th, can schedule a virtual advising session with an academic advisor, by logging into their MoWest Applicant Portal. Students will review their transcripts and determine a schedule suited to their degree pursuits, interests and schedule. Work with the advisor to registered at that time or follow these Steps to Register.
