Although the majority of employees are working from home, campus services are still continuing, and some students are still living in the residence halls.  Most student services remain in operation and are just a phone call, email or text away.

Starting on Tuesday, March 24 and continuing through at least April 2, the City of St. Joseph asked the community to follow a Stay At Home order . Because educational institutions and government entities are deemed “essential” to community operations, our campus and operations are exempt from this new order. However, in the spirit of the new order and other directives from governmental officials, Missouri Western has restricted public access to campus.

All campus buildings except for the Blum Union are now locked. For the students in the residence halls, the cafeteria is providing take-out services. Additionally, the Barnes & Noble bookstore is closed until at least April 2.

Although the library will be physically closed, services for students are being offered remotely. Reference Librarians are available via chat, email refdesk@missouriwestern.edu, or phone (816) 271-4573.
