The MWSU Chamber Singers will present their annual fall series with area high schools on Sunday, Oct. 13 and Thursday, Oct. 17. High Schools they will perform with are Truman High School Mixed Chorus, conducted by Kim Carson, and Blue Valley North High School Mixed Chorus, conducted by Jason Sickel.
This series provides the opportunity for high school students and University students to collaborate and share their love for choral music in a professional atmosphere. Oct. 13th’s concert with Truman will be at 3 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church at 201 N. 7th Street, St. Joseph; and Oct. 17th’s concert with Blue Valley North will be at 7:30 p.m. at Wyatt Park Christian Church, 2623 Mitchell Avenue, in St. Joseph.
Both concerts are free and open to the public.
