The Griffons’ last trip to Mizzou Arena proved memorable with LaQuinta Jefferson just missing a three-pointer at the buzzer that would have sent the game into overtime in the tip-off to the 2014-15 season. That Griffon team ended the season 15-12 while Mizzou went on to a 19-14 record and a pair of wins in the WNIT. This year’s Mizzou team is looking for its fourth consecutive NCAA Tournament berth and was picked fifth in the SEC Preseason media poll.
