Griffon Soccer (12-6, 7-4 MIAA) will travel to Fort Hays State (10-6-2, 8-3 MIAA) on Wednesday for the first round of the MIAA Championships. The MIAA announced Sunday afternoon that the Griffons earned the No. 5 seed in the postseason tournament. The game starts at 6 p.m.
Last week, Missouri Western soccer allowed a season-low five shots in their 1-0 victory over Northwest Missouri on Senior Night, but lost 4-0 to Central Missouri on the road on Sunday.
