Program Overview
The Master of Education (M.Ed) program is intended for current and future educators, school administrators, current and future policymakers, and other related service providers. The M.Ed. program is designed to meet the needs of professionals who are seeking to learn techniques to more effectively differentiate instruction, who wish to enhance their understanding of the unique needs of diverse learners, and who are interested in improving instructional practices in their school or district.
Why Pursue your M.Ed at MoWest?
The M.Ed. program consists of 30 credit hours. Students complete 21 credit hours within one concentration of their choosing: Differentiated Curriculum and Instruction, K-12 Cross-Categorical Special Education, or Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). Students complete 9 credit hours of core courses, through which they participate in an applied Capstone Internship Experience.
