Artist Statement

Overall in my artistic endeavors, I’m involved in the process of sequential art and visual storytelling which ties into my work as an animator, story artist, and illustrator. Because sequential art has such a broad range, my work varies media-wise, whether it’s presented through comic panels, storyboard animatics, or animation frames. The goal is still the same regardless; to tell an engaging story of some sort or another.

Doing this gives me the unusual role as a storyteller who creates sequential art, a compilation of images meant to be seen in a particular order, through animations, storyboards, and comics. I would one day like to work on a creative team with a goal to create media that is both meaningful and entertaining, particularly with children’s programming in mind.
