Senior Art Exhibition

Biography – Michelle Aaronson

I have been passionate about art since I was very little. Coming from a family of fiber-focused activities, I went out of my way to learn as much about other media as I possibly could. Because of this, I became a sort of jack-of-all art. I love learning about art and the new ways in which individuals use it, and I am constantly striving for my students to do the same. Art is an experience that I believe no student should go without. Many students push aside the idea of pursuing art for their future because they look at their skill and understanding of the basics in art and genuinely think that they are not ‘talented enough.’ It is impossible for every individual to be at the same level of experience, and visually, they will differ. Because of the difference in visual, students may think that they will be graded poorly in turn. I believe that students should be instead graded on the level of effort and overall development that they put into their work.
