Biography – Madelyn O’ConnellMadelyn O’Connell is a recent graduate with a B.S.E. in Art Education and minor in Digital Animation. Themes of nature and people have been and are ever-present in my work. Art allows me to simply focus on creating and observing the natural world, and that is something that brings me peace. It brings me even greater joy when I use it to connect with others interpersonally. Art isn’t just art. It’s fun, vulnerable, peaceful, commemorative, experimental, and is communication in its rawest form. While a general theme of animals and people are visited time and time again in my own work, the mediums in which they are expressed are diverse to connect with a wider audience.
