Under first-year head coach Sundance Wicks, Missouri Western men’s basketball improved to 3-1 in its 75-67 win over Upper Iowa (0-2) on Saturday night, Nov. 10 in the 27th Annual Hillyard Tip-Off Classic at the St. Joseph Civic Arena. That win gave the Griffons their first 3-1 start since 2013-14.

Missouri Western’s 12 three-pointers in the game is a new season high. The Griffons took the lead three minutes into the game and maintained the lead for the rest of the game.

On Friday, Nov. 9, the Griffons beat Winona State in the Tip-Off Classic 65-57.

Their next game  will be in Rolla against Missouri S&T on Nov. 17.
