General Education Testing – Educational Testing Service® (ETS) Proficiency Profile
Missouri Western uses the ETS® Proficiency Profile as one indicator of student learning within the general education curriculum of bachelor degree programs. This university-wide exit exam must be completed prior to graduation, but students are encouraged to take it as soon as they have earned 90 credit hours. Emails are sent to students meeting the criteria on the first week of classes of the Fall and Spring semesters.  A link is included in the email to register for the online exam. Results are used to refine the general education curriculum and instructional delivery.  Please see the ETS® Proficiency Profile FAQ flyer to answer your questions. The ETS® Proficiency Profile is administered by the General Testing Center, Hearnes 202. For information about the ETS® Proficiency Profile, call (816) 271-4410. Download ETS PP Flyer
