**MOSERS PreRetirement seminars are designed for employees who are within 5 years of retirement eligibility and are either MSEP or MSEP 2000 members**
You will learn about the decisions you will need to make and about the retirement process. Key topics include the defined benefit pension plan through MOSERS, retirement savings options through MO Deferred Comp, retiree health insurance through MCHCP,* and Social Security benefits through SSA.
Register to attend by logging in to myMOSERS, select the day or evening session you wish to attend, complete the registration information for both you and your guest (if any), and you are ready to go! We will send a confirmation to your MOSERS Document Express Online Mailbox (log in to view and print) as well as reminders one week before your selected session. Be sure to review these for details about your session and helpful hints for the day. Please note that evening sessions include MOSERS information only. Sessions delivered on a university campus are designed for university employees.
Your spouse or guest is welcome to attend with you (even if they are not a state employee) AND they must be included in your registration. If your spouse or guest is also a state employee within five years of retirement eligibility, they should register separately (as a member via myMOSERS) to receive their own personalized benefit estimate and packet.
Seminars are free and tend to fill rapidly. If you OR your guest needs to cancel a registration for an in-person session, contact MOSERS at (800) 827-1063 as soon as possible. This will allow us to provide an accurate headcount to the caterer, venue, etc., and contact members who may be on a waiting list to attend.
*This topic won’t apply to Conservation or University employees who have their own employer provided coverage.
Prepare for your seminar!
