Davione Blaise, a first-generation college student, was skeptical at first because she thought she would be overwhelmed at Missouri Western.
But she got involved in several student organizations, and all the skepticism went away as she grew as a leader.
“I am very appreciative of the school and all its staff,” she said. “They have been so helpful and caring. My parents love Missouri Western just as much as I do.”
