Started in 1970s, the Department of Engineering Technology at MWSU has built an excellent reputation in this region over the past 40 years. Our graduates are highly successful, and hold important positions in business and industry. The four-year Construction and Electronics Engineering Technology programs are accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission (ETAC) of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). Since the engineering technology classes are relatively small, you will get maximum attention from highly-qualified instructors. In a competitive global economy, engineering technology (ET) graduates are at the forefront in making the difference in the fields of construction, electronics, manufacturing, computer electronics, and other related technologies. ET graduates are the true problem-solvers of today, and care takers of the technologies of the future. We in the ET department look forward to assisting you in shaping your future. The Department also offers Pre-Engineering and Pre-Architecture programs as well as a special 3 plus 2 (5 years) dual degree (two B.S. degrees) program in Engineering (civil engineering, electrical and computer engineering, and mechanical engineering) and Engineering Technology on selective admissions.
