Craig Spiker had been involved in a student organization for manufacturing engineers at a previous college, and so he decided to start a group when he came to Missouri Western.
“My professors were excited that I was starting the club, and they were really helpful in getting it recognized,” Craig said.
The new group, the MWSU Manufacturing Club, toured a plant and held a holiday party to kick off its first semester on campus, and Craig is looking forward to more activities this semester.
“This is a very friendly campus. I enjoy walking around and having people wave at me or speak to me.”
