Some departments offer a test-out option for some classes. Department advisors will be able to give you more information about this service. The courses that we currently have test-out exams for are listed below.
Art100, Chemistry101, Chemistry111, First Aid, Music101, Medical Terminology, and PED101
If you wish to test out of courses not listed above, there may be a CLEP test-out option for a general studies course. Please check THIS LINK to the CLEP page for a list of those courses, the corresponding CLEP exam, and directions for taking the CLEP exams.
Instructors: Please click on the button below to submit a Petition for Course Test out. The Testing Center will email the instructor and the student to set up an exam time. Requests should be made at least 7 days before the exam is to be taken.
Students: After your exam date is scheduled with the exam proctor, click on the Course Test-Out Registration Form button below, fill out the registration form, submit it, and follow the directions that will take you through the payment process. Please have a credit card ready when you register and go through the payment portal.
Please bring your payment receipt(s) or voucher(s) for all payments made on the day of your exam.
