Recent graduate Charity Page feels her wide range of hands-on experiences at Missouri Western really prepared her for the future. “When I came to campus, I landed a job as Program Coordinator in the International Center, which gave me the leadership and organizational skills I needed to stand out,” says Charity. “My supervisors supported and encouraged me to excel, and my professors in the Art Department also helped me to grow as a graphic design professional.”

Charity is traveling to Japan to teach English as her first adventure after graduation and believes that her experiences at Missouri Western have enabled her to pursue her dreams.

“I believe pursuing an art degree at Missouri Western was a great choice. It’s affordable, the professors really care about and help you, and there are so many opportunities to get involved on campus. I would highly recommend any prospective art major to study here.”

After finishing her time in Japan, Charity plans to pursue a Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. “Whether that will be in the U.S. or in Japan is to be decided.”
