Greetings!Matthew J. Wilson

As I officially began my tenure as President at Missouri Western State University, I want to thank our students, employees, alumni, community members and supporters for putting your faith in me to help write Missouri Western’s next chapter. Together, we can do exceptional things.

My primary mission is to ensure our students receive the best experience possible to springboard them to a successful future. Please know that we are going to work harder than ever to accomplish that goal. With innovative degree programs, partnerships and outreach, we are committed to provide opportunities that are one-of-a-kind for our students, employees and region.

While my professional career has taken me across the country and across the world, I truly believe that St. Joseph is an ideal place to call home. I believe we can develop even stronger connections with our community partners and look forward to engaging with our leaders and community members.

I am extremely excited about the opportunity to work together to make Missouri Western the best it can be.

To accomplish that, I welcome your feedback and suggestions any time. My email is wilson@missouriwestern.edu.

Please feel free to connect.

Once again, thank you for being part of Missouri Western. I look forward to succeeding together.
