Availability
Missouri Western is pleased to provide wireless network access (WiFi) across campus for faculty, staff, and students. WiFi is available in now available in virtually all buildings with exceptions listed below. Note: General guest access is not supported.

WiFi is currently not available or has limited availability in the following locations:

Conservation Department Limited Availability
Kit Bond Incubator Not Available
West Campus Not Available
Spring Sports Complex Not Available

Connection Information
Western Wireless supports 802.11b/g, 802.11a, and 802.11n (5 GHz) wireless standards using WPA2 and WPA enterprise encryption.

NOTE: Western does not guarantee secure communications, even though encryption is provided. Use the wireless service at your own risk.

To Connect
The first time you use the wireless network, you will need to “onboard” your device. Connect to the MWSU-HowToConnect
wireless network and follow the instructions and wizards.

Note: Windows 8 RT, Windows Phone, Linux, and many consumer appliances (TVs, DVRs, etc) do not support the onboarding process.
