Students transferring from a community college or another four-year institution may be eligible for the MoWest Transfer Scholarship for Nursing. This scholarship supports transfer students pursuing a career in nursing.

Award recipients receive $500, renewable for up to two years. The application process is simple, and the scholarship can be combined with other awards, but there is a limited number of scholarships available each year.

To qualify, you must be a transfer student, admitted to MoWest, and have nursing declared as your major.

   Apply and submit your official college transcript(s) from all previous institutions you attended. Click here to apply today!
2. Be admitted
   Check your email for your admission confirmation.
3. Complete the scholarship form in your applicant portal
   Complete the application for the scholarship, and see if you’re eligible for others in your applicant portal.
4. Commit in the student application portal
   Submit the required forms and be admitted before classes begin. The discount will be applied at the point of enrollment.

Students are encouraged to complete the FAFSA to access additional financial support. Federal deadline for the FAFSA is June 30th.

Additionally, scholarships may be available through the General Scholarship Fund; in addition to FAFSA, students are encouraged to fill out the general scholarship application. General scholarship application deadline is April 1st.
