The Missouri Western advantages are:

Value and quality – Affordable tuition/fees estimated at around USD$6,500 per semester.  Accredited degree programs taught by professors with highest academic degrees or credentials.  Also, the university offers a variety of opportunities to enhance the educational experience such as experiential learning, honors society, and academic research.

Merit-based scholarship awards – information is available on the website, or print the scholarship flyer.

Accredited public university – The University is a recognized state funded institution, and is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.  Furthermore, the Craig School of Business is AACSB recognized, and the Engineering Technology programs are ABET accredited.  Please review the up-to-date complete list of programs accreditation.

Home away from home – Active student life with about 100 student organization, intramural sports, and Division II athletics.  Interested overseas students may experience our university video tours from the comfort of your home!  Imagine and see yourself on campus.  

Convenience – Located on Interstate highway 29, students may ride the Saint Joseph Public Transportation bus lines for FREE with valid MWSU student ID to shop at stores, see the latest Hollywood movies, or visit fun places.  Also, Kansas City, about 30 minutes south, famous among others for its BBQ dishes, the Royals professional baseball, and the Kansas City Chiefs professional football athletic teams!
