Living on Campus
Students who live on campus have to sign a contract at the beginning of the semester in the Residential Life office in the Commons. Make sure to clarify the duration of the contract (some of the contracts are for two semesters). If you want to cancel the contract, you will still have to pay 40% of the housing fee.
If you would like to stay on campus during Thanksgiving break, winter break, or spring break, you need to pay a weekly fee to Residential Life. If you decide to stay during any break, you need to contact the Residential Housing office in the Commons Building.
If you will not be living on campus the following semester, you must move out of your room by a certain date. Please contact the Residential Life office in the Commons if you have questions regarding the date.
At the end of each semester (or when your contract ends) if you decide to continue living on campus next semester, do not forget to visit the Residential Life office to renew your contract BEFORE your current contract expires. If you decide to move off campus at the end of your contract, you need to move your belongings out of your room and turn in the keys to the RA by the end of the semester. You must move out of your room within 24 hours of the last day of academic work or as listed on the college calendar. Residents must follow check-out procedures, available at the Residential life, before vacating the halls. Failure to do so will result in a minimum of $25 improper check-out fee. For more details, please visit the Residential Life website.
