As an integral part of Missouri Western State University, the Department of Nursing supports the mission, goals and policies of the College and the Division of Professional Studies. To master the discipline of nursing and the increasingly complex knowledge and skills required to deliver safe and effective care, a broad-based baccalaureate education including theoretical and clinical based learning are essential for undergraduate nursing education. Recognizing the complexity of the organization, financing and delivery of health care, departmental faculty are committed to supporting ongoing program/curricular evaluation and adaptation to meet the demands of the evolving health care system. |
