When Sydney Andrews was two years old, she was diagnosed deaf and hearing impaired. Everyone in her life encouraged and supported her to achieve her dreams. Her experience through the years has driven her to pay it forward in everything she does.
While at Missouri Western, Sydney was accepted into the physical therapist assistant program. When she learned about the opportunity to make a medical mission trip to India, she went without hesitation. Twice. Sydney was able to show love and compassion without saying a word. Currently, she works in home health and cares for many elderly individuals. Once again, she is able to show love and compassion without the need for words. Missouri Western gave Sydney ample opportunities to use her skills and knowledge to provide a passionate care experience to others.
