Gold Fridays AHEAD – Advancing Health Education and Development

Gold Fridays AHEAD is a collaboration between Missouri Western (departments of Biology, Chemistry, Health, Sport, and Exercise Science, and the School of Nursing and Health Professions) and the Northwest Missouri Area Health Education Center (NWMO AHEC).

Through Gold Fridays AHEAD, students interested in health professions can find opportunities to learn more about their chosen fields and develop experiences and skills to be competitive applicants. Opportunities include: (1) job shadowing, (2) preparation and application workshops and (3) workshops to enhance medical skills and knowledge.
