As we continue to make improvements, we aim to build lasting partnerships that prioritize the success and well-being of your school. Our team is committed to delivering flexible, high-quality dual credit opportunities that not only serve students immediately, but empower them to prepare for their college journey.
Class Formats

Dual Credit
Dual Credit enables qualified high school students to take college-level courses in-person taught by a qualified high school instructor. Students simultaneously receive academic credit for the course from both the high school and MWSU. The Instructor of Record is a MWSU department-approved high school teacher who has a minimum of 18-graduate credit hours in the requested field.

Collaborative Dual Enrollment
Collaborate dual enrolment enables qualified high school students to take college-level courses in-person that are taught by an approved, trained high school instructor working in conjunction with a MWSU Faculty member. Students simultaneously receive academic credit for the course from both the high school and MWSU. The Instructor of Record is a MWSU faculty member while the high school faculty facilitates the course in-person.

Flex Online
Flex Online courses allow qualified high students to take college-level courses offered 100% online, taught by a MWSU faculty member. A designated high school staff member is assigned as a Course Monitor to assist in student success measures. These courses are offered asynchronously, allowing for flexibility in scheduling and offering selection.

Traditional Post-Secondary
Traditional post-secondary courses allow qualified students to enroll in sections developed for MWSU undergraduate students, either online or on the Missouri Western State University campus. These courses are offered to both ECA and undergraduate students.
