The Center for Excellence in Applied Healthcare Learning (CEAHL) was created through MoExcels grant funding and the generous support of the following partners: Mosaic Life Care, Mosaic Life Care Auxiliary, the Missouri Western State University Foundation and the Mosaic Life Care Foundation.
The CEAHL has the goal of facilitating the expansion and development of employer-driven education, training programs and initiatives to increase educational attainment and meet workforce educational needs.
The CEAHL is housed within the School of Nursing and Health Professions at Missouri Western State University.

Research Agenda
Research focus will be on Northwest Missouri healthcare workforce needs addressing increased access to quality programs, the use of simulation, apprenticeships /internships, and responsive programs to meet regional needs.
