Missouri Western requires each academic degree and certificate program to submit an annual assessment plan outlining their assessment practices for the assessment cycle. Assessment of student learning begins with the development of student learning outcomes describing the knowledge and skills students acquire from a program. Student achievement is measured, analyzed, and the results are used to improve teaching and learning.
