We are located in Wilson Hall on the backside of the Missouri Western State University campus. If you enter the university’s main entrance from Mitchell Avenue, you will follow the circle drive all the way around campus until you are near the football stadium. We will be right across from the Baker Fitness Center.

We have two full-time academy classes each year, running from January to June, and July to December.
The cost for the academy is approximately $7,176 (In-State and Griffon Rate Waver Cost) and $7,788 (Out-of-State Cost)
You only need a high school diploma or G.E.D. from an accredited institution.

You will also be required to apply as a student at Missouri Western State University. You can apply as a non-degree seeking-personal enrichment student. If you are currently enrolled as a student, then you will not need to reapply.
Yes, you will earn 18 credit hours.
No, upon successful completion of the academy, you will earn 18 credit hours that you can use toward completing an associate’s degree or a bachelor’s degree. Please schedule an appointment with an advisor in your respected department to discuss completing the degree requirements.
The Law Enforcement Academy is a certificate program, and we do not qualify for regular financial aid. However, applicants can apply for the Missouri Blue Scholarship, which covers approximately $6,000 of our tuition.
