Western sorority Alpha Sigma Alpha hosted their annual Float-A-Thon Sept. 29th. The purpose behind Float-A-Thon is for the members of ASA to raise funds and awareness all day for their designated charity, Special Olympics.

The girls of ASA took over the Eder fountain from 8am to 8pm. With the help of fraternity Tau Kappa Epsilon at the grill, money was raised by serving food and accepting donations for their cause. At the end of the day, ASA raised over $600. These funds went towards their Polar Plunge event held for Special Olympics every spring.

Special Olympics is one of four philanthropies ASA gives to.
