The 2018-2019 Theatre Season at Missouri Western State University opens with “The Great American Trailer Park Musical” Oct. 12-20 in Potter Hall. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 12, 13, 18, 19 and 20, with a Sunday matinee at 2 p.m. on Oct. 14. There’s a new tenant at Armadillo Acres, and she’s wreaking havoc all over Florida’s most exclusive trailer park. When Pippi, the stripper on the run, comes between the Dr. Phil-loving, agoraphobic Jeannie and her tollbooth collector husband, the storms begin to brew, accompanied by a country-rock and blues inspired soundtrack.

Tickets will be available in advance at mwsutix.com or by calling the box office at 816-271-4452. Tickets will also be available at the Potter Hall box office before each performance.

“The Great American Trailer Park Musical” features music and lyrics by David Nehls and book by Betsy Kelso. It is presented by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc., New York.
