Ring in the season at the Missouri Western State University Symphonic Winds Holiday Concert at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1 in the Potter Hall Theater on the Missouri Western campus, presented by the Department of Music and the School of Fine Arts. Tickets are $5 for the general public and $3 for senior citizens and those with a Missouri Western ID. Middle school and high school band members and directors will be admitted for free.

The program, under the direction of conductor Jeff Hinton, will feature traditional favorites as well as new and fresh arrangements of popular classics. Among the selections will be “Sleigh Ride” and an exciting twist on an old standard called “Jingle Them Bells.”
