The Department of Art and the School of Fine Arts at Missouri Western State University will hold its first Juried Student Art Show Nov. 13 to Dec. 4 in the Potter Gallery on the Missouri Western campus. The show is free and open to the public. There will be an opening reception from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13 in the gallery.

Students submitted their work for the show, which was juried by Amy Kligman, well=known artist and co-owner of PLUG Projects Gallery in Kansas City. The show is designed to give students experience with submitting and presenting work as professional artists.

The work of 22 students will be displayed.
